Bichon Bash 2001
Our friend
Cathy Senalik again organized the 2001 Bichon Bash for the Columbus, Ohio area. It was the
fourth annual bash and the biggest yet! Forty-nine
Bichons came!!!
Cathy and
her bichons Pretty and Chon.

We had a
bichon raffle to raise money for
bichon rescue.

Aunt
Shannon was in charge of the raffle.
She had some help from Aunt Dawn.
Here they are with Tasha.

Theo was
one of the early arrivers. He wants
to know, "When does the party start?"

Lily was a
bit overwhelmed by it all.

Then Aunt
Shannon cheered her up with some hugs.
And I gave
her a kiss.

First we
all had to say hi to each other.

Sometimes
we have our doggy ways of
greeting each other.

Perhaps
this is why our mom thought
this would make a good picture.

Everyone joined in the fun.

This must
be a good time for a short rest.
It was a
big party!
Here are
all of the bichons who were rescued!
(Lily is there of course.)
We had a
romp in the woods.
What burrs?

We had two
babies there. One was 12 weeks old.

And the
other was 10 weeks old.

One of the
guests came to see if a bichon
might be a good choice for his family. We sent
Lily over to convince him.

We had a
visit from a nice gentleman, his two
daughters and Bailey.

Here is a
little princess named Sylvia..., who won
the bichon figurine in the raffle.

Some
brought their playpens along.

And Casey
brought his covered wagon.

We thought
we were spoiled...
until we met Casey.

Lily is
sure one of the boys has been
here already.

I had a
great time.

When we got
home, Lily and I had
to have a huge nap.
