A Little
Trip
November
2002
We took a
little trip to Boston because
our Mom had to go to a conference,
whatever that is. We drove in the car, so
Lily and I could go along, again proving
how spoiled we are.
We got
tired waiting for the
car to be packed.

On the way,
we stopped for the night in
Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania since it
is halfway between Ohio and Boston.
There we stayed at our favorite hotel,
the Inn at Turkey Hill.
,
The Inn at
Turkey Hill is dog-friendly
and it is very beautiful. It is
surrounded by a little park.

They even
have a pond. We had to promise
not to chase the ducks.

When we
entered our room, Lily
said, "Widget,come here and
look at this."

I told her,
"I think this is for us."

We investigated further. Something
smelled very good.

They were
doggie treats, just for us.
We love Turkey Hill!

On our way
to Boston, we stopped for
a night in New York City. We wanted
to pay our respects at the World
Trade Center site.

There was a
nice message painted
on the side of one of the
buildings overlooking the site.

Here we are
in front of the New York
Plaza Hotel.

We had to
check out what was going on
over here,
and over there,

and in the
hotel lobby.

Finally we
got to Boston.
Here we are
in the lobby of the
Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. It
is very fancy.

Mom brought
our travel crate, which
folds down and is very easy to carry.
Lily looked so comfortable,

I decided
to join her.

We stayed
one more time at the
Inn at Turkey Hill on the way home.
In the
garden, Lily called us over
to see the last rose of the season.
We played
in the leaves with Dad.

When we got
home, we had to take
gigantic nap to recover
from our little trip.
